Introductory Classes

Introductory meditation classes (part of the General Program of Kadampa Buddhism) are held weekly in both Kalispell and Bigfork. Each class includes guided meditation, a teaching explaining some aspect of Buddhist practice, and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss.

The presentation is suitable for anyone, beginning or advanced, and is a perfect way to explore what Kadampa Buddhism has to offer.

The emphasis in these classes is on the practical benefit we can experience in our day-to-day lives through applying Buddha's teachings both in and out of meditation.

Everyone welcome. All classes are self-contained and suitable for all levels. Join at any time during the series and attend any number of classes you wish. $8/class.

Ven. Geshe Kelsang has designed special study programs to help us gain a complete understanding of Buddha’s teachings and confidence in our abilities to practice them in our daily lives.

These programs allow everyone, whatever their situation, to learn about Buddhist thought and meditation at their own pace and level of commitment.
